Accessibility

wave-top-gray

Inclusion of all is part of Piracanjuba's purpose. We want to reach you, the consumer, through the improvement and innovation of our communication channels.

Some of these features can already be accessed on this website. Here you will find virtual translation into Brazilian Sign Language and screen reading, as made available by the Hand Talk feature. We hope to break down, through technology, the barriers that prevent clear and accessible communication with people with disabilities.

Consider the website’s features, as follows:

Font Size

The browser's zoom can be changed using the pinch gesture on the cell phone or tablet, or using the following keyboard commands:

  1. zoom in on the page - click the “ctrl” and “+” keys at the same time.
  2. zoom out of the page - click the “ctrl” and “-” keys at the same time.
  3. standardize page zoom - click the “ctrl” and “0” keys at the same time.

Contrast

High-contrast colors may be used with the following commands, either on Mac or Windows operating systems:

  1. enable contrast - click “ctrl” + “,” at the same time.
  2. disable contrast - click “ctrl” + “.” at the same time.

Plugin for accessibility in Libras (Brazilian Sign Language)

On the right side of the screen there is a plugin signaled by a blue icon with two white hands drawn on it; when hovering the mouse over it, a banner written “accessible in Libras” appears. By clicking on it, you have access to Hand Talk's virtual translator Maya, without having to leave the website.
